The more than 30,000 volumes of the historical collection have been collected over five centuries. Over the decades, quite a few of the books have suffered from inadequate storage conditions or show strong signs of aging.

 

Preserving the collection and repairing damage is a great challenge. Thanks to the help of many supporters and the members of our association, we can help the library to carry out urgently needed restoration work on the valuable book collection. In the last 12 years, more than 60 books have been restored.
